About FINOVEX
Finovex Holdings Ltd (Finovex) was established in September 2016 by a group of seasoned professionals in banking, financial markets and technology to take advantage of the growing global trends in increased processing power, sharing economy and widespread use of platforms as service providers.
Its aims and objectives are to research, develop, implement and operate crowdfunding and crowdlending platforms on a global scale.
It is creating high level employment positions in Cyprus, builds technology and IP that is replicable in other use cases and has already developed and successfully operates its first peer to peer lending platform in the UK, Lendwise.
Founders
Rishi has operated in the Financial Services sector for his entire career, with a background in investment banking. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics, earning a BSc (Hons) in Accounting & Finance as well as later an MSc in International Accounting & Finance.
Rishi has helped a range of companies grow, through M&A, capital raising and strategic advice.
Rishi is non executive director of XM (a leading FX and CFD broker) and Trading Point Asset Management Ltd as well as a consultant to GLA Partners Ltd, an advisory boutique based in the UK.
Prior to the establishment of Lendwise, Ioannis managed Liquidity and Funding for the Bank of Cyprus for 8 years, leading the setup of the structured finance transactions (ABS, RMBS, Covered Bond, Secured Borrowing Programmes) of the Group.
Previously, he worked as Head of Capital Markets at CISCO (Bank of Cyprus Group) for 8 years raising capital and advising a wide array of Cypriot enterprises.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and president of the CFA Society of Cyprus, Ioannis graduated from LSE with an MSc in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems and a BSc in Accounting and Finance.
Kypros worked in the Investment Banking and Financial Planning Departments of Alpha Bank (Cyprus) before moving in the private sector to take up the role of Finance Manager in a number of companies including the Lanitis Group where he served as CFO of the private equity division.
Kypros graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Management Sciences.
He is a Fellow Member of the ICAEW and a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Cyprus (ICPAC) in which he served in the Corporate Governance Committee.
